Miley Cyrus är en av USA:s största unga stjärnor tack vare rollen i tv-serien
”Hannah Montana”. I skolan är hon en person på scenen en annan. 15-åringen har just släppt sitt första album under eget namn. Plattan heter Breakout. I höstas var hon Sverigeaktuell med konserten Best of Both Worlds Concert.

What’s it like to lead a Rock Star life on screen and off? Miley Cyrus is one of the world’s most favourite pop teen sensations. By these questions and answers you will get to know her even more!

What’s it like being a star?
– Getting to travel is really cool; it’s like having a bunch of vacations. The difference now is that everywhere I go; I have to be super careful when we wouldn’t think anything about going places before. For instance, when I got off a plane at an airport, it was totally insane with all of the fans, I couldn’t believe it.

Do you have any pets?
– In Nashville, I have seven horses and five dogs. One dog is a new yorkie named Shooter who travels on the road with me. I also have two kitty cats and eight or nine chickens.  And then there’s deer and animals everywhere because we live on a farm.

What’s it like working with your father?
– The crazy thing is that it hasn’t really changed. We act the same as we normally do, but I’ve grown up and I think we go through the same stuff and we act the same way as we would any other time. Sometimes, it will be like, “Okay Dad, just give me five seconds to breathe.” But overall, he’s cool.

How did you get the name Miley?
– My real name is Destiny Hope. When I was really little I smiled a lot so my dad was like, “Aw, she’s Smiley”, and eventually he just took off the “s” and made it Miley. Maybe he knew that when I got older, I wouldn’t want the name Smiley, so he and my mom just stuck with Miley.

Why do you think kids relate to Hannah Montana?
– Hannah Montana is an average, everyday girl living the dream of a rock star when she isn’t in school and being a normal kid.  It means that you can still believe in your dreams, but at the end of the day, what’s truly important is your family and friends.  And to be so thankful that you have them in your life.

What are some of the challenges of being famous?
– I love it. They’re the reason that I’m here. And that’s something that my dad has taught me, if anything, is that the fans are the reason that you’re here with anything that you do. And so, just love them and be really gracious for all they’ve done for you, ‘cause you wouldn’t be here without them.

What are your hobbies and how do you relax?
– I’m learning how to knit from my friend Emily.* I’m not that good, but I’m learning.
